Sometimes I just feel so tech-savvy. In Germany to visit a relative, I managed to purchase a SIM card for my android so that I could interview Jessica Mulroney by phone. While eating German kuchen. Speaking English on the phone and German to the waiters. It was quite the day!

Jessica, a mom of twin brothers Brian and John, welcomed baby Ivy (Isabel Veronica Mulroney) in June of this year. Jessica is a Pampers aficionado and as a PGMom I had the opportunity to chat with her about motherhood.

Jessica Mulroney is as well-spoken as she is beautiful, and she and e-talk host Ben Mulroney tag-teamed during the interview. Adorable. In preparing for baby Ivy’s arrival, the couple involved the older boys by allowing them to help with name suggestions. When the baby arrived, she gave each of her new brothers a gift, making the attention transition smooth.

The couple were a natural fit for being Pampers Parents. From the time the twins were born and they were given Pampers by the hospital, they have used the brand.  It was interesting that both parents gave kudos to Pampers for allowing them to have a better night’s sleep. Because Pampers are now 3 times drier than ordinary diapers, parents are able to control the baby’s level of comfort. There’s not much else that is possible to control with a newborn!

I was inspired by the couple reinforcing the notion of trusting their parental instincts and not listening to the heaps of advice that other people constantly give.

When asked about their favourite baby products, they cited the MamaRoo, a moving computerized chair that calms Ivy like nothing else. They chose the OrbitBaby stroller, and on a more personal note, Jessica can’t live without her ballet flats.
