school suppliesIt’s time for back-to-school scrambling which usually includes shopping for brand new school supplies. But which school supplies are safe for your kids?  Last year, a report was released by Environmental Defense and the US-Based Center for Health, Environment and Justice outlining guidelines for purchasing safe back-to-school products. Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC is found in many common school supplies and other children’s products and is of key concern in the report.

We love these products! In their own way they’ve each helped maintain our sanity and helped make our jobs as moms of twins easier in terms of time saved, soothing our babies and convenience.  They’ve helped make our babies lives safer and stimulating.  We hope you’ll like them too.

Safety Zone

GEAR, home By November 5, 2007 No Comments

There are lots of products on the market to make your home safe for babies. Many of these items you do not need to consider until your baby is moving around, but one thing that we recommend for immediate use is a bath thermometer, which gauges your water and will indicate if it is too hot. Never leave baby alone in a bath, even for a second.
