Canada’s waiting children
Canada’s Waiting Children (CWC) program is intended to be an additional resource to prospective adoptive parents who are going through the adoption process with an agency in their area.This website contains photos and background information about Canadian children waiting for permanent adoptive families. It also provides information about domestic adoption in Canada of children in the care of provincial, territorial, and First Nations child welfare agencies. The CWC program is a service of the ACC. The ACC is not an adoption agency but an information and referral service.
