Forum for Women Entrepreneurs

The Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) is proud to celebrate the men and women who invest in entrepreneurial success at its annual fundraising gala on January 18, 2010 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.

A select group of angel investors, venture capitalists and private equity investors will be celebrated at the gala. There will also be a guest speaker panel that includes:
·         Arlene Dickinson- CEO of Venture Communications and Star of CBC’s Dragons’ Den
·         Dianne Buckner- Host of CBC’s Dragons’ Den, Past Host of Venture and Creator of Fortune Hunters
·         Michael Hyatt- CEO and Co-Founder of BlueCat Networks

This year’s gala will raise funds to go towards supporting FWE’s professional programs: e-series (Entrepreneur Series), a-series (Advanced Series), Student Internship Program, Mentor Program, Roundtable events, Peer Advisory Circles (PAC) and Member Forums. There will be a silent auction during the gala to further provide resources and support for FWE’s initiatives.

Tickets for the gala are available at a member rate of $185+GST and a non-member rate of $199+GST until December 15, 2009. A table of 10 can be purchased for $1,850+GST. A bronze sponsor table can be purchased for $3,000+GST. Tickets can be purchased online at www.fwe.ca.

All of FWE’s programs are dedicated to providing women entrepreneurs with educational and mentoring opportunities that will accelerate their business growth and help them achieve greater success. As a non-profit organization, FWE relies on the support of corporations to fund its programming. FWE also offers unique opportunities to businesses to interact directly with business owners and influential people in the business community through advertising, speaker and partnership opportunities.
