The Maclaren Volo Lightweight Stroller is a great workout stroller!

  2. Joanna M. February 11, 2010 at 3:47 pm ·

I’ve tried out a few strollers, from friends and stores as I’ll be buying one this month. I found that the UppaBaby Vista stroller by far is the best. Easy to use, just enough give, good height, easy to get in and out of the car if you’re going to the seawall or to the park to walk. It’s not a jogger, but it feels like one.

I have a double bob stroller and I really like it for working out – it is easy to turn, has suspension and also has little pockets for the kids and for mom as well, and really big canopies to block out our westcoast rain and sun.

  4. Leah McAdie February 11, 2010 at 3:54 pm ·

Hands down, the chariot. It’s my third stroller and by far my favorite for keeping fit. It’s an investment but well worth it.

  5. Heidi Hunton February 11, 2010 at 4:12 pm ·

Mutsy Sport – excellent for trails or running

  6. Tania Mayson February 11, 2010 at 5:02 pm ·

The BOB revolution is by far the best workout stroller. It offers the flexibility of a swivel or locked front wheel, the former great for maneuverability and the latter for running, as well as shocks so your wee one doesn’t feel all the bumps. It can easily be pushed one handed (not only important for the latte test but also for flat running) and allows you to use a car seat when you think your child still requires a little more head and trunk support or prefers to look up at you. I’ve used this stroller for a variety of work out endeavors including stroller fitness and training for a marathon and can’t imagine my life as a mother without it!

I have a double mountainbuggy and its superb. Its sturdy and its really good for any workout. And most importantly, the babies are safe and thats what matters the most.

  8. Linda February 11, 2010 at 5:53 pm ·

The Chariot, absolutely. I have trained for two marathons with it. It is lightweight, has excellent, adjustable shock absorption and comfy slings for babies to rest in (I trained with twins!) If you’re a serious runner the Chariot is the best!

  9. Cynthia Liu February 11, 2010 at 6:19 pm ·

Bob sport utility stroller is light weight yet a rugged suspension. it’s great for jog in city pavement or trails I found.

  10. Leah Fraser February 11, 2010 at 6:44 pm ·

I have a double chariot that I LOVE! I load two of my kids in there and have one on my back and head out for a walk! It is quite the workout!

  11. Deepika Patel February 11, 2010 at 7:47 pm ·

Id say the BOB Revolution would be my pick since it really does make maneuvering in westcoast terrain quite easy not to mention the great suspension!!

  12. Shara February 11, 2010 at 8:01 pm ·

I love my City Elite Jogger. It has big wheels and they’re rubber, not plastic so I can go off roading on trails while walking the dog.

  13. Lisa Bennett February 11, 2010 at 8:02 pm ·

My BOB revolution with 16″ wheels is the best for workouts. The front wheel can be locked for running or unlocked for easy manuverability. I think the shocks are awesome to give my little girl a smooth ride. It is great on the trails, going over roots and through mud easily. Also, with the raincover, my daughter is dry and I have no excuses not to get out on a rainy day.

  14. Lisa Gabrys February 11, 2010 at 9:18 pm ·

I am torn between my single bob suv (fixed front wheel, knobby tires, perfect for running in the trails) or my double chariot when I have to take out both kids. Both strollers are awesome!

  15. ingrid willett February 11, 2010 at 9:58 pm ·

The Urban Mountain Buggy Stroller is awesome! It can be used on all terrain but is super light and fashionable at the same time. It comes in a funky purple, which I have, but also comes in all your standard colors.

  16. Carole Eros February 12, 2010 at 2:48 pm ·

No question, the chariot is the best. It has suspension, easy change wheels, can be used for a variety of workouts (running, biking) and can completely block out the weather.

  17. Shelley February 12, 2010 at 3:39 pm ·

I love using my BOB Revolution for working out!!

  18. Marlene V February 14, 2010 at 10:01 pm ·

I really love the chariot — I would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks for the great giveaway

  19. Jen February 16, 2010 at 11:06 pm ·

Love the BOB! When people ask me the most valuable ‘thing’ we have for the baby, I by far say the BOB!! It’s worth every cent….goes everywhere, light, turns on a dime and holds alot! We don’t go anywhere without BOB :)

  20. Andrea Garnett February 21, 2010 at 11:20 pm ·

Definetly the BOB Revolution! It’s an amazing stroller w/ a great shock system and super easy maneuvering. It is great for jogging and going through trails!

  21. Nicole February 25, 2010 at 8:28 pm ·

I love the Uppababy Vista. Easy to push, handles curbs and bumps well, HUGE basket underneath to hold anything I need, and you can set the seat to face in or out.

  22. Laura March 1, 2010 at 11:45 am ·

The Chariot gets my vote…can be used with cross-country skis, bikes, and running. I love it.

  23. Kata March 9, 2010 at 2:16 am ·

Preferrably one that doesn’t fall apart!! My four-wheeled Maclaren stroller bought from Zellers 3 years ago puts out just fine. Just because I can’t use it on gravel, dirt, grass or on a trail, doesn’t make it any less better than a BOB! What’s a BOB anyways? No, seriously?

  24. wen March 9, 2010 at 11:44 am ·

I have to vote for my Bugaboo Cameleon. Great wheels, spins on a dime, adjustable handle bar – so dad can use it for a work out too, tight fitting rain & mosquito cover and baby can face in or out! Lastly, you can change the seat & canopy fabric to match your workout gear – can anything top that! :)

  25. lauren March 11, 2010 at 3:38 pm ·

Phil n Ted’s Vibe. way easier to maneuver!

  26. Glenys March 11, 2010 at 3:39 pm ·

The Mountain Buggy Urban Elite gets my vote – you can lock the front wheel if desired (though I prefer to let it swivel, even when running), it has some shocks to cushion the bumps, and it handles all sorts of terrain really well. I also like my double chariot, but haven’t really used it for anything other than walking yet. If you are the kind of person who will bike, ski, and hike a lot, the chariot would be a great pick!

  27. Carly March 11, 2010 at 3:45 pm ·

Ooh – a lululemon gift certificate! Just what I need in exchange for the hours and hours of research I did on the topic of strollers and exercise…Here goes: the best stroller for working out and carting baby is the Mountain Buggy – oh, how I love this stroller. It’s totally versatile and can take you from working out to strolling the sea wall or mall. It is a breeze to push as well as a breeze to fold up and pop in the trunk. The wheels are smaller than the Bob or Chariot, making it an easier day to day stroller – however, they are rubber and have a fixed wheel option so it functions perfectly for any type of physical activity. Totally customizable handle as well as an array of fabulous designs…need I say more? If you’re reading this as you’re trying to decide what stroller to buy – you won’t be disappointed with a Mountain Buggy. My love affair with it continues!

  28. Winny March 11, 2010 at 4:15 pm ·

My vote is for the Uppababy Vista. It has foam tires, so you never have to worry about the tires going flat. It has an enormous basket and is such a stable stroller that it’s great for trails and malls alike. As well, it has an adjustable handlebar, baby can face you or forward, and turns well considering it’s a full size stroller. I also want to mention that my baby loves being in it, since it’s so high up!

  29. Katherine March 11, 2010 at 4:35 pm ·

I love the Bob Revolution Stroller! It can go anywhere – plus it is easy to fold up and put away.

  30. Helen Day March 11, 2010 at 4:35 pm ·

I have a Bob Revolution Duallie and a Bebecar Raider AT single stroller. Both are awesome for fitness walking but the Bob is best for running……..

  31. joanne turner March 11, 2010 at 5:36 pm ·

I love my bob revolution. So easy to push and stear.

  32. cc March 11, 2010 at 6:14 pm ·

The bob rev is the best!

  33. Alison March 11, 2010 at 6:54 pm ·

I love the Mountain Buggy Urban too. It is such a comfy ride for baby and so versatile. It handles bumpy trails, smooth sidewalks, and can even manoeuvre around the super busy Olympic crowds!

    Mountain Buggy Urban double

  35. Charis March 11, 2010 at 8:54 pm ·

I’m loving my Jane Powertwin as it is a front/back double stroller so it can double as my shopping and running stroller. It’s extremely compact and fairly light. I use it on trails and pavement. Oh, and it has shades and raincover for both kids! Very hard to find though…only in the states :(

  36. Lesley March 11, 2010 at 9:20 pm ·

I have the Bob Revolution and its awesome on the trail and pavement. I use it daily and after 2 years I have no complaints about it!

  37. Jacqueline Nelitz March 11, 2010 at 9:36 pm ·

The Cougar Chariot is the stroller I use for my fast walking workouts and it’s great!

  38. Dr. Shelley Adams March 11, 2010 at 9:53 pm ·

I had a single bob and now that I have 2 kids…I have the double bob. It is wide but the kids can see each other and help entertain each other. What I like about it is that each child get’s his own canopy and that they come down very far to keep rain and sun out. Having said that – if I want to see in there is a window on the top. I also like that I could use it for exercise even when the baby was little as it comes with the infant car seat adaptor. The rain cover seals all the wet out, the seats go back far and if need be my eldest can ride on the foot rest at the front. I love the swivel/fixed wheel and it has big tires suitable for on or off road jogging. For extra exercise – I try to do my grocery shopping as well and because it is so big I can get $$$’s of groceries in it if I use all of the pockets. As a chiropractor I am a little disappointed in the back support as I feel that when babies are about six months (when you can take them jogging) the stroller is too soft and their back is always curved. The other drawback is that for small children, the shoulder straps are low and quite exposed – I kinda feel they dig into my baby’s head now that he is just out of the car seat. I always put a hat and or hoodie on him for this reason. I have heard taht these issues can be resolved for buying the fuury line – I am just yet to get one.

I borrowed a double mountain buggy once- I didn’t like the double wheels at the front – it didn’t turn as well and it was just one more to put back on after taking it apart.

oh goodnes…I accidently put down the wrong e-mail address! please use this one. Sorry.
P.S. Lululemon is my gear of choice!!

  40. Belanina March 11, 2010 at 11:10 pm ·

I LOVE my City Elite. It is awesome! In fact, in my running club, 10 of us have the same stroller! It is super maneuverable and my son loves riding in it! The best thing, though, is the HUGE canopy!

  41. Jennifer Kardynal March 11, 2010 at 11:24 pm ·

I love my BOB. I run at least 3 days a week on trails and on the road it is great! My little guy is happy and I love how easy it is to maneuver.

  42. Lisa March 12, 2010 at 6:28 am ·

I use the BOB Revolution. It’s comfortable for babe and the handle is high enough for tall people. I’ve used it for both minor trails and road running. We love it!

Without a DOUBT, my Canadian-made and oh-so-versatile Chariot!
