The Vancouver Wooden Boat Festival is held at Granville Island in August every year. This is a great family event where you can enjoy canoe challenges and rowing races, classic songs of the sea, family boat building, and knot tying demos. Don’t miss the kids toy boat building where kids can build and launch their own boat. Located behind Kids' Market and Cats Meow Restaurant, it is the hit of the festival for the under 12 set!
