With potty training going on, I really need a tote bag which will accommodate a potty seat just in case!

I often forget the toy for toy day at my son’s preschool…it’s always a letter of the alphabet, and they change the day around often (so the part-time children have a change to bring something too). Anyways, on the letter ‘F’ day we arrived sans-toy once again, and so went out and picked some dandelions. My son thought it was great and asked to pick flowers every day afterwards…grin…

I was always the Mom in baby group who left a diaper, wipes, snack, bottle, and an item of utmost importance at home. My biggest brain fart? I left my daughter’s skates behind when attending her lessons. Duh! :-)

My children go to two different schools. I am forever getting lost in the sea of papers being sent home from each school such as permission slips, tests, notices, pizza day, and homework assignments, and forget important dates. Never mind that, I often forget important due dates and to send back the papers with signatures on time as well.

Everyone needs a day timer these days… we lead such busy lives. Maybe I should have two cause I’m always so busy… wait… no… I’ll just get the 4S next week!

I unfortunately forget one thing or another all the time. My son is in pre-school, I am in grad school, and my little girl just wants to do something in between. Help me organize!!!

We had taken a drive south of the border to pick up some baby supplies, and on the way home our daughter who was about 6 months at the time started to get fussy and hungry for a bottle. I pulled out a bottle that had prewarmed water to mix with the formula, I reached in the diaper bag for my formula dispenser and couldn’t feel it. I, in my rushed state while getting things ready, had FORGOTTEN to pack the dispenser! Needless to say, the drive home was not smooth sailing!

I always forget my three-year old’s sunglasses when we go to the park or beach, or simply a long car ride on a sunny day. She gets quite annoyed with me about it.

I had to make a checklist for my son’s hockey equipment. So much stuff to remember!

Swimming!! I forget the hair tie, the goggles, the PJs to change into after…you name it, I’ve forgotten it. Oh, how about the post-swim snack so I don’t have to buy from the vending machine. Ugh.

I’m never organized when it comes to feeding the dog, an 18 month old, and my newborn. Having one on the breast, one in the high chair and bringing the dog in from outside to eat is a pain.

I am never organized for preschool, I am always preparing the snack as we are running out the door.

For the most part I leave the bags pre-packed for all of the different activities: ballet, swimming, skating, preschool…but I am always bound to forget snacks, drinks and clothes to change into.

I am not organized for my son’s swimming. I have forgotten towels many times and even swim trunks. The staff at the pool was kind enough to lend us towels however!

Sadly I am never organized for my son’s play dates. No matter what I always tend to forget something and usually it’s his favorite toy which means either some whining for a bit or trekking back to get it. Neither are fun options!

the need of a pre-packed tote, with a calender full of dates and details…. Hello!! the random plastic/grocery tote just is not cutting it. Lets not even talk about the uncool factor, but the random bits of paper at the bottom does not make one feel very organized. I would be loving this prize package : beauty and brains, that’s what we all want, right??!!

I’ve got 3 boys (6, 9, and 12) who are all in hockey – between them they have 15 ice times a week! And no, we don’t have them in any “extra” hockey – it’s the “mininum”. Plus, my husband coaches two of the boys’ teams. Last Sunday, our day started at 5am and ended at 8pm – with 5 ice times crammed in between. At any given time, we’re running around trying to figure out where we’re supposed to be next and praying we haven’t forgotten anything. Any help I can get would be an improvement!

School lunch – either the no-waste lunch baggies and straw bottles/thermos are in the wash/dishwasher, or I forgot to buy food that could be considered “lunch” – well, at least a balanced lunch. And school forms……..!!

  27. Kristin October 11, 2011 at 4:08 pm ·

Pool – I know it isn’t original, but it truly sucks to get to the pool and realize that you have forgotton one or both of your suits (I have done both)!

  28. Jen October 11, 2011 at 7:59 pm ·

The endless forms & papers that come home from 3 different schools. I never seem to get the right one signed and sent back when it’s due. I have tried to be more organized this school year and have made folders for each child that I keep on a table in the front hall. That way the bookorders, permission forms, etc, go in there when I unpack their bags. Now, to remember when they need to go back…

I am infamous for forgetting a swim diaper when taking my toddler daughter swimming! More than once I’ve had to use a regular diaper which swells up so big she almost sinks in the pool!

Friends’ birthday parties. I end up buying a last minute gift and always
forget the card. Homemade cards made out of my kid’s art isn’t too obvious, is it?!

I’m not sure if anyone’s aware but there’s something called “Filipino Time”. I learned about this at a very young age. What is it, you ask? If you are Filipino (like I am) you have a tendency to be late… for EVERYTHING. Now, thankfully, this doesn’t necessarily mean you forget to bring things you need with you, but no matter what, I am ALWAYS late – birthdays, play dates, meetings, movies, you name it. There’s just always something that needs to be done last minute! I dread when it’s time for my little ones to attend school. I hope they’re able to break the streak! =D

There are two things I commonly forget…diapers, for my two and a half year old when we are going on long car rides (over 4 hours!) and healthy breakfast for daycare. The saving grace has been my daughter’s ability to communicate…we have only had one accident in the carseat, and Mom’s canning. Peaches are always good, right?
