Learn what steps are necessary to adopt through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Find out all aspects of the adoption process including costs, wait times, who can apply to adopt, the application, the various steps involved, and of course, the types of children waiting for adoption (aged 0 - 19 years) in British Columbia. Cate MacPherson from MCFD will be able to answer any questions and will have literature and application packages available.
