Aviator Sunglasses
What do Angelina, Marlon Brando, and Lauren Hutton have in common? (Besides the obvious?) Aviator Sunglasses. One trick for pregnancy and transition is to go all black, and accessorize like crazy. Mommy, meet your newest accessory. xx
When will I start Needing Maternity Clothes?
A. You will probably not need maternity clothes until your second trimester if this is your first pregnancy. You won’t see a lot of big changes to your body immediately. It is safe to say most women can wear their regular clothes for the first 16 weeks. You may even be able to get away with going up a size in your normal pants for a few more weeks past that. Usually around week 24, your belly will “pop out” and your regular clothing will begin to feel tight.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter FIrming Lotion
Another Pina Colada, pool boy… oh darn. Confused again. This gorgeous belly cream is not only helping rid us of stretch marks and excess skin as we trim down, but the coconut scent has us convinced that we are a good deal south of Canada. Palmer’s Firming Butter was voted one of our reader’s top belly products, so we had to try it. And we love a bargain. (Shhh). It is available at drug stores, and is so inexpensive it might just be the extra excuse you need to stick with your diet. www.palmers.com

If not detected early enough in a child, the disease can be fatal or result in serious brain damage. Yet diabetes in a child is often completely overlooked: it is often misdiagnosed as the flu or it is not diagnosed at all. Read more
Sex During Pregnancy
Ok girls. Anyone want to talk about sex? All I can do is talk from experience (and what I’ve heard of course – all the negative stuff is from other people) but it seems that it goes one way or another. While pregnant, you either discover the stripper/bondage-loving sex-goddess that you’ve always wanted to be, or you have a perpetual headache. Read more
