The I Spy books are a fabulous way to engage curious young minds by bringing the classic “I Spy” game children adore to a new arena: books. The first I Spy book I Spy: A Book of Picture Riddles was published in 1992 and several books and games have followed including I Spy: Fantasy, I Spy: Mystery and board books for the littlest hands. Each double page presents a photograph rich with sometimes hundreds of different thematic objects and an “I Spy” poem to get you started. The game helps children with their visual acuity, memory, vocabulary and labeling abilities and it sharpens their young minds all while having buckets of fun!
