No Excuses: So now that the Olympics have come to a close and my extremely busy 3 jobs, 2 kids, 1 husband, and have eased their pressures on my schedule, I am able to breath and realize, this is not my own journey that I am on, I am in a competition!!! Actually the husband is needing attention after a month with either a phone or lap top attached to my body in some way.

I am not sure how the other women are doing, haven’t even had the time to check, but now I am going to hit the ground running.  Literally.

Ray came over last night, we did some really weird exercises.  I know what you are thinking, they can’t be that weird.  Well, try this…no really try this; go to a tread mill turn it on, now lay on your back on the ground with your butt in the air and walk on the tread mill.  If your glutes and upper legs are not shaking immediately, you are doing it wrong.

I have lost a bit of weight, and maybe an inch.  We have not weighed in since this all started so I can’t be sure, but I may need to take my suits in.  Between the cost of a good tailor or a new suit there is little difference.  I actually received a nice Olympic bonus, so my birthday will be a bit of a spending spree.  And not for the kids.  There were many months and a good year were the guilt in buying yourself something nice far out weighed the need.  Or at least it seemed that way.  How much work would it take to erase the loose skin on your abs and actually tighten your butt to a point there is only one.  Like not the double butt that doesn’t look good in any bikini.  Are the bikini years over? I hope not, it’s all up to Ray now!
