Hi there. I’d like to suggest a really wonderful music program for young children that is available across Canada and is a Canadian success story that celebrates 30 years this year! Music for Young Children.

    The website is http://www.myc.com.

This program offers small group keyboarding classes to children between the ages of 3 and 10 with parent participation and a range of activities to engage children at different ages such as rhythm instruments, singing, composing, theory, movement and solfege.

Because Music for Young Children is available across Canada, young families are offered the flexibility of moving and continuing with their lessons in another city.

MYC’s success could be measured by the awards that the children receive, but it is the children’s love of music and their desire to continue in music classes throughout their lives that is the true measure of the program’s success.
