UrbanMommies Media has been in existence for 5 years and has evolved into a trusted virtual magazine for thousands of chic Canadian moms.  Our contests, polls, social media conversations and feedback all show tremendous engagement with us. We are active at Parent Fairs, newsletters are published 4 times per month, and a new article is published daily.  Our 4 areas of focus are Travel, Style, Food and Parenting.  We have also recently launched UrbanDaddies and UrbanDeals.

Jill Amery is a mom of 2 small boys and the Editor of UrbanMommies, a stylish online Canadian lifestyle magazine filled with fitness, style, health, recipes and savvy mom advice to help you through pregnancy, birth, and raising your kids.  After having lived in Germany, Halifax and Toronto, she now calls Vancouver her home.  Educated at Queen’s University and the University of Toronto, Jill has diverse interests and a passion for life.  She fully embraces natural and eco-friendly ideas, but the Manolos are never too far away.

Laura Burling: Director of Marketing based in Toronto.  Laura Burling works in our Marketing Department and a self-proclaimed health nut. If she’s not paddle boarding across the lake or in hot yoga, she’s probably lacing up her shoes for a run through High Park. Although a Toronto native, Laura travels whenever she can. Having obtained a BA in political science and a certificate in PR, you’ll often find this one’s nose buried in a newspaper. Laura gives UrabanMommies that smoky appeal.

Kate Hunt: Marketing Assistant.  Kate went to Queen’s University, but that is only a small part of why we love her.
