Support the adoptive Families Association of BC at “Wine on the Mountain” -a fabulous night of wining, dining and fundraising at the Peak of Vancouver. This is a unique "Wine Adventure" at the Peak of Vancouver including People's Choice awards, featuring live music and auctions, and an array of food/wine pairing presentations. The reason for this incredible event is to help raise the necessary funds so they can continue their valuable work in adoption and help join children with families throughout the province. Diastasis Recti Research Study
Physiotherapist, Diane Lee and Personal Trainer, Sue Dumais are looking for postpartum women to participate in a study on Diastasis Recti. Women should be between 8 weeks and 10 months postpartum with at least 2 finger’s width of separation of the abdominus recti muscle (down the centre line of the belly). Each woman will have 2 full evaluations with Diane Lee including REAL TIME ultrasound and 10 sessions of exercise rehabilitation with Sue Dumais. The study will start in January 2008 with 10 women.
